ScotRail services to / from / through Edinburgh

Description

A fault with the signalling system at Edinburgh means some lines are disrupted.

As a result, ScotRail services running to / from / through Edinburgh may be delayed by up to 20 minutes, cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected to continue until 21:00.

Customer advice:

Some services running from Helensburgh Central towards Edinburgh will terminate at Bathgate.

Customers with valid tickets may travel via any reasonable route.

ScotRail have also arranged for your ticket to be accepted on the following local operators for no extra cost:

  • Edinburgh Trams between Edinburgh Park and Edinburgh Waverley

  • Midland Bluebird on routes:

    • X38 Falkirk - Edinburgh via Linlithgow

    • 2 / 2A/ 7 / 8 Falkirk Grahamston-Larbert

    • 51 / 52 Stirling - Alloa

    • 38 Stirling via Larbert & FVRH

    • 1 Polmont - Camelon via Falkirk Grahamston
