Description
Damage to the overhead electric wires between Edinburgh and Carlisle means that all lines are blocked.
Trains running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised as a result.
This is expected until 17:30.

Your ticket can be used on the following, at no extra cost, in both directions:
CrossCountry services between Edinburgh and Birmingham New Street
LNER services between Edinburgh and London Kings Cross
ScotRail services between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh
TransPennine Express services between Glasgow Central and Preston
If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.
If you no longer wish to travel because your train's delayed or cancelled, you can request a full refund from where you bought your ticket.
TransPennine Express customer advice:
Trains are unable to run between Edinburgh and Lockerbie in both directions.

TransPennine Express services between Edinburgh / Newcastle / Manchester Victoria and York
Customers at Lockerbie and Haymarket are advised to see staff where onward transport will be provided.
