Description

Lines have reopened following a fire alarm sounding at Edinburgh station. Trains running to / from / through station may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

You may use your ticket at no extra cost on:

• Edinburgh Trams between Edinburgh and Edinburgh Gateway

• Lothian Buses between Prestonpans / Gorebridge and Edinburgh

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination.

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
