Between Dyce / Elgin and Inverness

Description

The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Keith and Elgin. To allow them to safely access the railway and carry out their work, all lines running between these stations are currently closed.

This means that trains running between Dyce / Elgin and Inverness will be cancelled or revised to only operate a portion of their normal route.

This is expected until 20:00.

Customer advice:

Rail replacement buses will run between Aberdeen and Elgin / Inverness (operated by Maynes, 24/7, City Circle and Docherty Midlands)

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on the following:

  • Alternative ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination

  • Stagecoach North bus services between Aberdeen and Inverness (please note, Insch is not covered by this agreement)

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
