East Midlands Railway Intercity and Connect services

Description

Industrial action is planned by the RMT union on Saturday 1, Saturday 8, and Saturday 15 August. If these strikes go ahead, East Midlands Railway Intercity and Connect services will be significantly disrupted.

East Midlands Railway are currently assessing the impact of this industrial action. We'll publish any timetable changes as soon as they are confirmed.

Customers are advised to check before they travel, to use alternative routes and to allow more time for their journey.

Additional information:

East Midlands Railway have introduced a temporary reduced Intercity timetable to help provide a more consistent and reliable service whilst they address issues with the performance and reliability of their 810 fleet trains. A full FAQ is available to view on the EMR website.

Check before you travel:

The National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner does not reflect these changes. Please check back later.

Compensation:

You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today. Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.
