Description

The RMT union has announced industrial action which is expected to impact the level of service on East Midlands Railway's Intercity and Connect routes on Wednesday 16 September and Thursday 17 September.

The service plan for Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 September is not yet available. Please check back at a later date.

Ticket flexibility and refund information:

If you hold a ticket for a strike day you can travel on a different day at no extra cost as per the guidance below:

• Tickets dated Wednesday 16 September can be used to travel on East Midlands Railway and connecting services on Tuesday 15 September, Friday 18 September, Saturday 19 September, Sunday 20 September or Monday 21 September

• Tickets dated Thursday 17 September can be used to travel on East Midlands Railway and connecting services on Tuesday 15 September, Friday 18 September, Saturday 19 September, Sunday 20 September or Monday 21 September

Please note that the above advice is with the exception of connecting services operated by Grand Central, Heathrow Express, Hull Trains or Lumo.

If your train is cancelled or you choose not to travel due to strike action, tickets can be changed to another date, or they can be returned for a full refund at your point of purchase. No administration fee will be charged.
