Description
A broken down train between Robertsbridge and Etchingham means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between Hastings and Tunbridge Wells may be delayed by up to 30 minutes, revised or cancelled.
Disruption is expected until 17:00.
What's happened?
A freight train has broken down between Robertsbridge and Etchingham, blocking the line from Hastings towards Tunbridge Wells.
The broken down train requires "rescuing" by a different train; this "rescue" train has arrived on site, and is attaching to the broken down train.
How does this affect my journey?
No trains are able to run between Hastings and Tunbridge Wells. Some services are terminating and restarting at Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on:
Southern services between Hastings and Ashford, and between Hastings and London Victoria
Arriva Buses routes 7, 281 and 402 between Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge
Stagecoach Buses route 1066 between Hastings and Tunbridge Wells / Tonbridge
London Underground services between our London Terminals
Highspeed services between Ashford and London St Pancras International
Replacement buses are in operation between Tonbridge and Hastings.
