Between Cumbernauld / Larkhall / Motherwell / Whifflet and Dalmuir, and also between Larkhall and Garscadden / Milngavie

Description

Lines have reopened following a fault with the signalling system at Exhibition Centre. Trains running between Glasgow Central and Partick may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 20:00.

Customer advice:

Customers can travel on the following alternative routes, at no extra cost:

  • Glasgow Central / Lanark for stations to Motherwell

  • Glasgow Central / Newton via Kings Park

Services via Glasgow Queen Street low level are not affected.

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination.

Your ticket can also be used, at no extra cost, on the following services:

  • SPT Underground services:
    Inner Circle: St Enoch - Glasgow Buchanan Street (Queen Street) - Partick
    Outer Circle: Partick - Glasgow Buchanan Street (Queen Street) - St Enoch

  • Whitelaws buses
    Route 253: Motherwell - Hamilton Central - Chatelherault - Merryton - Larkhall
    Route 254: Hamilton Central - Chatelherault - Merryton - Larkhall
    Route 255: Hamilton Central - Larkhall

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
