Description
A fault with the signalling system between Ninian Park and Radyr means the line is closed.
As a result, trains are unable to run between Cardiff Central and Radyr via Fairwater. Services will either be cancelled in full or revised to not operate between the affected stations.
This is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advised:
To assist you with your journey, you can use the following Cardiff bus routes 1, 1A, 2, 2A, 61, 62 and 63 between Cardiff and Radyr at no extra cost until 09:00.
Rail replacement transport (provided by Bluebirds and Ferris) is running between Cardiff and Radyr as below:
XX:10 Radyr to Cardiff Central via Ninian Park
XX:40 Radyr to Cardiff Central via Ninian Park
XX:18 Cardiff to Radyr via Ninian Park
XX:49 Cardiff to Radyr via Ninian Park
Please note, travelling using road transport will take longer than rail services. Pay as you go cannot be used on local bus operators.
