Description

All lines have now reopened following an earlier obstruction on the track at Farningham Road. Trains running between Swanley and Sole Street may continue to be delayed by up to 50 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 13:00.

What's happened?

A low-hanging tree was obstructing the line in the Farningham Road area.

Response staff have removed the tree and the line has reopened.

Trains are being delayed or revised.

Affected routes:

  • London Victoria - Gillingham / Ramsgate / Dover

Services via Canterbury East are particularly disrupted. Travelling via Canterbury West may be quicker.

What should I do?

You may use your ticket on the following routes at no extra charge:

  • Highspeed services between London St Pancras International and Canterbury West

  • Stagecoach Buses services between Faversham, Canterbury and Dover

  • London Underground between our London terminal stations
