Description
A tree blocking the railway between Salford Crescent and Bolton means that the line is blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 20 minutes, revised or diverted.
Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Train services are unable to run between Salford Crescent and Bolton (in this direction only).
Train services will divert via Atherton where possible and will not call at Clifton, Kearsley, Farnworth, Moses Gate, Bolton and Westhoughton.
Northern services between Manchester Airport - Bolton, between Manchester Oxford Road - Southport, and between Rochdale - Blackburn / Clitheroe and are not affected.
