Description
The emergency services are dealing with an incident at Farringdon. Whilst they complete their work, no trains will stop at this station.
Trains running through Farringdon may also be revised to not run their full route, or to not call at other stations.
Major disruption is expected until 17:00.

Advice for Elizabeth line customers:
Farringdon and Tottenham Court Road will not be served. Trains may be diverted to London Paddington or London Liverpool Street.

Advice for Thameslink customers:
If you are travelling on the Thameslink network this morning you are strongly advised to delay travel until later this afternoon.
If you do travel now you will need to allow a minimum of 60 minutes to your journey time as you will need to use an alternative route for at least part of your journey. As all routes on the Thameslink network will be subject to major delays and cancellations.
This is due to Emergency services dealing with a major incident involving multiple agencies in the Farringdon area which means we have had to shut the line between London St Pancras and London Blackfriars.
Until further notice no services will be able to call at Farringdon or City Thameslink. If you are travelling to or from these stations you will need to use local London Underground services or TFL Buses to complete your journey
Thameslink services:
While this incident is ongoing Thameslink services will be amended where possible to the below however services across the Thameslink route will still be subject to cancellations and delays.
Bedford and Brighton will operate between Brighton and London Blackfriars south of London and between Bedford and London St Pancras International north of London only
Brighton and Cambridge will not run. You will need to use alternative Great Northern services between London and Cambridge or alternative Gatwick Express or Thameslink services between Brighton and London
Horsham and Peterborough will run between Finsbury Park and Peterborough and Horsham and London Blackfriars only
Bedford and Gatwick Airport via Redhill services will not run. You will need to use alternative Southern or Gatwick Express services south of London, and Thameslink services between Bedford and London
St Albans and Sutton will not run in either direction. You will need to use alternative Southern, South Western Railway or London Underground services to complete your journey.
Luton and Rainham services will run between Rainham and Dartford only. Please use alternative Southeastern services to complete your journey
