Description
The emergency services have completed their work following an earlier incident where a person was hit by a train. This has allowed all lines between Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace to reopen. Whilst service recovers, trains may still be delayed by up to 45 minutes, revised or cancelled.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Great Northern and Thameslink customer advice:
Services have now begun moving again between Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace.
If you are travelling through this area, you can use your normal route, but please allow at least an extra 30 minutes to complete your journey, as services remain subject to delays, alterations, and cancellations while we work to restore the timetable.
Harringay station remains closed until further notice, and trains are unable to call there. If you are travelling now, it may be quicker to use an alternative route.
If you are travelling to Harringay, please travel to Finsbury Park or Hornsey and use London Buses to complete your journey.
If you are at Harringay station, please use London Bus routes towards Finsbury Park or Turnpike Lane to connect with train and tube services.

Can you tell me more about the incident?
Earlier today, emergency services and railway response teams were called to deal with an incident in the Harringay area.
For safety reasons, lines between Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace were temporarily closed while response teams attended the scene.
Network Rail and emergency services have now authorised trains to begin moving through the area again under caution. However, Harringay station itself remains closed while staff complete on-site procedures.
Because trains and crew were held during the line closure, significant delays, short-notice platform alterations, and cancellations will continue while services return to their scheduled diagrams.
