Description

A fault with the signalling system at Frodsham means that some lines are disrupted. As a result, Transport for Wales trains running between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street may be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 13:00.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services:

• Avanti West Coast between Crewe and Liverpool Lime Street in both directions

• London Northwestern Railway between Crewe and Liverpool Lime Street in both directions

• Merseyrail between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street in both directions

These arrangements are in place on services until 14:00.

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.

Transport for Wales have organised buses to run between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost.

The Chester to Liverpool Lime Street rail replacement service will arrive at Chester at approximately 12:00 provided by Pats Coaches.

The Liverpool Lime Street to Chester rail replacement service will arrive at Liverpool Lime Street at approximately 12:30 provided by Pats Coaches.
