Description

Lines have reopened following animals on the line in the Gobowen area earlier today. Trains running between Wrexham General and Shrewsbury may still be cancelled, revised or delayed up to 30 minutes.

Normal service is expected by 13:30.

Customer advice:

The following rail replacement buses are running between Chester and Shrewsbury at no extra cost to help with your journey. These will be provided by Lakeside Coaches and Keanes Coaches.

  • Departing Chester at 11:10 and 11:40, calling all stops to Shrewsbury

  • Departing Chester at 12:20 and 12:40, calling all stops to Shrewsbury

  • Departing Shrewsbury at 12:45 and 13:20, calling all stops to Chester
