Description
A fault with a swing bridge over a river at Goole means that all lines are blocked.
As a result of this, trains running between Doncaster and Hull via Goole will be delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 23:00.
Additional information:
Network Rail engineers are now on site and are working to rectify this issue.
Customer advice:
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including advance and peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
Effect on service:
Doncaster to Hull services will be unable to run in both directions.
Sheffield to Scarborough services will be diverted via an alternative route and will not call at Goole.
