Lines have reopened following the emergency services are dealing with an incident between Birmingham New Street and Lichfield Trent Valley.
Trains may still be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
Rail replacement transport is operating between Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield Trent Valley via Lichfield City in both directions.
Tickets will also be accepted on National Express West Midlands between Birmingham New Street and Four Oaks in both directions.
