Description

Lines have reopened between Greenbank and Chester following a points failure earlier on today. Trains running between Altrincham and Chester may be cancelled or delayed by up to 45 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 23:00

Customer advice:

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
