Trains between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks / Tunbridge Wells / Maidstone East / Hastings / Canterbury West / Dover Priory, and between London Cannon Street and Orpington / Hastings / Ashford International / Ramsgate

Description

A fault with the signalling system at Grove Park means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 23:00.

What's happened?

A fault with the signalling system in the Grove Park area means that one of the two lines towards Orpington is unavailable for trains to run on. This means all services, fast trains and all-stations trains, are having to run on the same line.

A vehicle striking a bridge in the Hither Green area earlier in the afternoon has also added to the disruption.

How does this affect my journey?

Trains may be delayed by up to 20 minutes, and/or revised. All-stations services from London Cannon Street to Orpington will not call at Elmstead Woods or Chislehurst.

What should I do?

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on London Buses on routes between central London and Orpington via Elmstead Woods/Chislehurst.
