Across the Southern, Thameslink and Gatwick Express network
Description
A number of incidents across the Southern, Thameslink and Gatwick Express networks today have caused disruption on various routes.
As a result, services across the whole network may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected to continue until 18:00.
Customer advice:
Southern, Thameslink and Gatwick Express services are subject to delays, cancellations, and alterations due to a number of incidents across the network.
A reduced service will run between London, Gatwick Airport and the south coast, and between Brighton and Littlehampton.
For the latest information, you should listen to announcements and check station screens. You are strongly advised to check journey planners before you travel, and leave a minimum of 30 minutes extra to complete your journey.
Expected changes to services
The following alterations are expected:
Gatwick Express services that run between London Victoria and Brighton are suspended
Southern services that run between London Victoria and Littlehampton will divert via Horsham, running fast from Gatwick Airport to Littlehampton
Thameslink services that run between Cambridge and Brighton are suspended
Travel advice
For journeys between London, Gatwick Airport and Brighton, you should travel on alternative Southern and Thameslink services.
For journeys between Brighton and Littlehampton, you should travel on alternative Southern services towards your destination.
For journeys between London and the Hastings/Ashford area, you should use Southeastern services from London Bridge and London St Pancras International.
For journeys between London and Portsmouth/Southampton, you should use Southwestern Railway services from London Waterloo.
You may need change trains at an intermediate station, or travel on more trains than normal, to complete your journey.

Southeastern services between London Terminals, Hastings, and Ashford International (including high-speed services from London St Pancras International)

London Underground services between London Terminals
London Buses between Norwood Junction, Selhurst, and Clapham Junction
