Description

A train has broken down in the Gomshall area. As a result, trains are currently unable to run between Guildford and Redhill and only a limited shuttle service is running between Reading and Guildford.

Disruption between Reading and Redhill is expected until 21:45.

Alternative travel options:

A limited shuttle train service will operate between Reading and Guildford.

Any customers travelling from Reading or Wokingham requiring Dorking, Redhill or Gatwick Airport may travel at no additional cost on South Western Railway services between Reading / Wokingham and Clapham Junction and change there for South Western Railway / Southern Railway services from Clapham Junction to Dorking. From Clapham Junction Southern Railway services are available to Redhill / Reigate and Gatwick Airport. These arrangements will apply in reverse for those customers at Gatwick Airport / Redhill.

Any customers at Guildford requiring Dorking, Reigate, Redhill or Gatwick Airport may use, at no additional cost, South Western Railway services between Guildford and Clapham Junction changing there for South Western Railway or Southern Railway services to Dorking and by utilising Southern Railway services between Clapham Junction and Redhill / Reigate and Gatwick Airport.

Limited road transport is being arranged to operate between Guildford and Redhill to serve intermediate stations. We'll let you know as soon as it is in place.
