Description
A landslip between Middlesbrough / Eaglescliffe and Sunderland means all lines are blocked. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 14:00.

Middlesbrough - Newcastle via Sunderland
Newcastle - Great Ayton via Sunderland

TransPennine Express services between Middlesbrough and Northallerton
LNER services between Northallerton and Newcastle
Tyne & Wear Metro services between Newcastle and Sunderland
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
Replacement transport:
Road transport has been booked to operate between Middlesbrough and Hartlepool. One full sized coach will be sent to both Hartlepool and Middlesbrough and they will arrive at approximately 14:00.

Network Rail staff are now on site and will carry out an investigation of the affected area.
