Description

Following a trespass incident at Hartlepool all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains between Sunderland and Thornaby / Northallerton may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 17:30.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
