Trains between Ore / Hastings and London Charing Cross, and between Hastings and Tonbridge
Description
All lines have now reopened following earlier overrunning engineering works between Hastings and Tunbridge Wells. Trains may continue to be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 08:00.
What's happened?
Overnight engineering work had not finished on time and required additional work. As a result no trains were able to operate on the Hastings line, the line has now reopened and trains are able to run again. We are working hard to resume a normal service.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains are now able to travel between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings.
The first train to leave Hastings since the line reopened is the 06:45 departure, leaving at 07:15 which is 30 minutes late and still expected to call at all stations to London Charing Cross.
What should I do?
You can still use your ticket at no extra cost on Southern services between Hastings and London and on London Underground services between London terminals, whilst we work hard to recover the service.
Please allow additional time to complete your journey this morning.
