Description

A train hitting an obstruction on the track between Ashford International and Hastings means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed or cancelled.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

A train has hit a tree in the Three Oaks area. This means trains are unable to run between Ashford International and Hastings.

Southern and Thameslink don't currently have a time frame for when this situation will be resolved. It is recommend delaying your travel until later, as they cannot guarantee a connection at this time. If you are currently travelling, they are looking into ticket acceptance with local buses and other train services to get you moving. You'll be able to use this at no extra cost.
