Description

A points failure between Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 and Heathrow Terminal 5 means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running to / from Heathrow Airport may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

An additional points failure has also occurred near Abbey Wood, further affecting Elizabeth line trains running to and from this station.

Disruption is expected until the day.

Elizabeth line customer advice:

There will be no service to / from Heathrow Terminal 5 and a reduced service running to / from Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3.

Customers travelling to Heathrow Terminal 5 are advised to change at Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 for the free inter-terminal transfer. These services run every 15 minutes.

Heathrow Express are running a half hourly service to / from Heathrow Terminal 5.

You may use your ticket on the following services at no extra cost:

• London Underground via any reasonable route

• Docklands Light Railway via any reasonable route

• Thameslink between Abbey Wood and Farringdon

• Southeastern between Abbey Wood and London terminals

• Local buses between Abbey Wood and Whitechapel

If you're travelling to or from Abbey Wood, you are advised to allow more time to complete your journey, and seek alternative transport where arranged.

Heathrow Express customer advice:

A reduced half hourly service will operate between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 5.
