Description

A fault on a train between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport means fewer trains are able to run on some lines. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 22:30.

Northern customer advice:

Fewer train services are able to run between Manchester Piccadilly and Heaton Chapel (in both directions).

Services between Manchester Piccadilly and Alderley Edge / Crewe will be affected by this disruption and will not call at Levenshulme or Heaton Chapel.

Northern services between Manchester Piccadilly and Buxton are not affected.
