Description
Lines have reopened following an earlier broken down train between Hereford and Pontypool & New Inn.
As service returns to normal, trains may still be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 45 minutes.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on any Stagecoach services between Hereford and Newport to complete your journey.
Transport for Wales have organised buses to run from Pontypool & New Inn to Newport to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. Road transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

Great Western Railway services between Newport and Swansea
CrossCountry services between Cardiff and Manchester Piccadilly via Birmingham New Street
