Description
The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, meaning all lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 17:30.
What's happened?
We've received reports of a road traffic accident that has caused damage to a bridge over the railway near High Brooms. As a result debris on the line means the route is obstructed and currently blocked.
Response staff are on site and currently working hard to clear the debris and assess the train damage to check if it is safe to move the train forward and clear the line.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains cannot currently run between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
What should I do?
We are working to obtain replacement buses.
