Description

Following a road vehicle colliding with a bridge at Hinckley, lines have now reopened. As service recovers, trains running between Leicester and Nuneaton may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

This is expected until 13:30.

Customer advice:

If your CrossCountry train is cancelled, you may use your ticket on the two CrossCountry train services operating before or the two CrossCountry train services after your cancelled service.

  • East Midlands Railway services between Leicester and London St Pancras International

  • LNER services between Peterborough and London Kings Cross

  • London Northwestern Railway services between Birmingham New Street/Nuneaton and London Euston

  • London Underground services between London Terminals: Euston, St Pancras, Kings Cross and or Liverpool Street (please show your ticket to gate line staff to be allowed through the ticket gates)

  • Thameslink services between Peterborough and London St Pancras International
