Description

There is a fault with the signalling system between Holyhead and Bangor, meanings that trains must run at reduced speed on all lines between these stations.

This will mean that trains operating on this route may be subject to delays of up to 30 minutes.

This is expected until 10:00.

You may use your ticket on Transport for Wales services between Holyhead and Chester in both directions at no extra cost. Please note, these services are also being impacted by this issue.

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

If you no longer wish to travel because your train is delayed or cancelled, you can request a full refund from where you bought your ticket.

Transport for Wales customer advice:

You may use your ticket on Avanti West Coast services between Holyhead and Chester in both directions until 08:00 at no extra cost. Please note, these services are also being impacted by this issue.

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
