Description

The emergency services have completed their work following an earlier incident where a person was hit by a train. This has allowed all lines between Hooton and Chester to reopen. Whilst service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised to start / terminate at Hooton.

Disruption is expected until 19:00.

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost, on the following alternatives:

  • Stagecoach Buses services 1 and X1 between Liverpool and Chester

  • Transport For Wales services between Liverpool and Chester
