Description

A fault with the signalling system between Green Lane and Hooton is causing disruption to all Merseyrail Wirral Line services.

Trains to and from New Brighton / Ellesmere Port and also between Moorfields and Hooton have been suspended.

Disruption is expected until 10:00.

Customer advice:

Replacement road transport services are in operation between Moorfields and West Kirby / Hooton / New Brighton in both directions until further notice.

Ticket acceptance is currently in place on Transport for Wales between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street at no extra cost.

To assist you with your journey, you can use your ticket to travel on Arriva and Stagecoach bus services on the Wirral at no extra cost this morning.
