Description

A broken rail between Leeds and Harrogate means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 20:00.

Northern customer advice:

The following rail replacement transport will operate:

  • 1 x full size coach will depart Harrogate at 19:15 calling at all stations to Leeds. Operated by DM Motors

  • 3 x 16 seat vehicles will depart Leeds at 19:55 and will call at all stations to Harrogate. Operated by RSZ Travel

Additional road transport is being sourced to run from York towards Harrogate and Leeds. More information will follow once an operator has been sourced.

Journey times will be extended by whilst travelling by road transport.

Passengers can travel via Micklefield for Leeds / York at no extra cost.

Any ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption.
