Description

A speed restriction over a defective track at Horsforth means that trains have to run at a reduced speed on all lines. As a result, trains running between Leeds and Harrogate may be delayed by up to 20 minutes.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Northern customer advice:

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

Additional information:

Network Rail are aware of the problem and will be carrying out repairs in due course.
