Description

Failure of the overhead line equipment between London Euston and Watford Junction means that fewer trains than normal are able to run.

As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or cancelled.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Avanti West Coast customer advice:

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on London Northwestern Railway services between London Euston and Birmingham New Street / Crewe in both directions until further notice.

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

If you no longer wish to travel because your train's delayed or cancelled, you can request a full refund from where you bought your ticket.

London Northwestern Railways customer advice:

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following service:

  • Avanti West Coast services between London Euston and Watford Junction, and between London Euston and Birmingham New Street / Crewe in both directions until further notice

  • London Overground (Lioness line) between London Euston and Watford Junction until the end of the day
