Trains between Glasgow Central and Largs / Ardrossan Harbour / Ayr

Description

A fault with the signalling system between Paisley Gilmour Street and Kilwinning means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 18:00.

Additional information:

Network Rail staff are on site, investigating the issue.

Customer advice:

Rail replacement transport is in operation between Paisley and Kilwinning, calling at all stations.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following alternatives:

  • Stagecoach West:

    • 13 Kilwinning - Stewarton

    • 50 Kilwinning - Largs

    • 432 Kilwinning - Kilmarnock

    • X77 - Glasgow - Ayr

ScotRail customer are unable to use their ticket onboard Stagecoach X services from Glasgow between 16:00 and 19:00.

  • McGills:

    • 38: Glasgow - Cardonald - Hillington East- Hillington West - Paisley - Johnstone - Milliken Park.

    • 904: Paisley - Johnstone - Howwood - Lochwinnoch - Largs.
