Description

There is a fault with the signalling system at Kilwinning, disrupting all lines running through this station.

As a result, trains running between Glasgow Central and Largs / Ardrossan Harbour / Ayr may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

This is expected until 22:00.

Customer advice:

Two buses have been confirmed for Kilwinning, these will arrive at 19:20 and 20:30 (operated by Westway and Arays). Two buses have also been confirmed for Glasgow Central, these will arrive at 19:35 and 19:45 (operated by Kevin's and Arays).

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on the following services:

  • Alternative ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination

  • Stagecoach West bus routes 11, 25, 585 and X77 in the Kilwinning area

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
