Description

Lines have reopened following a fault on a train between Thorpe-le-Soken and Walton-on-the-Naze. Whilst service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 10 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 19:00.

Customer advice:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following Central Connect buses:

  • 7 between Clacton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze

  • 105, 107 between Colchester and Walton-on-the-Naze

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
