Between Liverpool Central and Headbolt Lane / Southport, and also between Hunts Cross and Ormskirk
Description
There is a safety inspection of the track taking place at Kirkdale. This is disrupting Merseyrail Northern line services.
As a result of this, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 35 minutes or revised.
This is expected until 13:00.
Impact to services:
Liverpool Central to Headbolt Lane services are currently suspended
Liverpool Central to Southport services are subject to delays and alterations
Hunts Cross to Ormskirk services will not operate between Sandhills and Aintree. A limited rail service will operate between Hunts Cross and Sandhills, and also between Aintree and Ormskirk
Customer advice:
A rail replacement bus service is in operation between Sandhills and Aintree / Headbolt Lane.
You may use your ticket on the following services at no extra cost:
Stagecoach bus routes 20 and 21 in the area
Northern between Liverpool Lime Street and Hunts Cross (until 12:30)
