Description

All lines have now reopened following an earlier trespass incident at Knaresborough. As service recovers, trains running between Harrogate and York may be still cancelled, delayed by up to 10 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 21:00.

How does this affect my journey?

Train services are unable to run between Harrogate and Cattal in both directions.

Services between Leeds and York via Harrogate will be affected by this disruption.

Northern services between Leeds and York via Micklefield are not affected.

You can travel on the next Northern service to your destination, where available.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
