Description

All lines have reopened following a fault with the signalling system between Carluke and Wishaw. As service recovers, train running between Glasgow Central and Lanark may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 15:00.

Customer advice:

Network Rail engineers have now fixed the signalling fault in the Carluke area and train services are able to run normally again.

ScotRail are working to get their trains and crews back into position to operate a normal service.

Customers can travel on alternative routes:

  • Glasgow Central to Edinburgh via Shotts - Customers can travel on these services for Uddingston and Bellshill

  • Glasgow Central Low Level - Customers can travel on these services for Motherwell

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
