Disruption caused by damage to the overhead electric wires between Lancaster and Preston has now ended.
TransPennine Express customers:
If you have a TransPennine Express train ticket dated for Thursday 26 June, you will be able to use your existing ticket on another TransPennine Express service today, Friday 27 June. The route is expected to be open as normal from the start of service. You don’t need to buy a new ticket or change your existing ticket to travel today.
If you choose not to travel by train, you will be entitled to a full refund.
