Description

A vehicle has collided with a barrier at a level crossing between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester via Newton-le-Willows. Trains are able to run safely but are doing so at a reduced speed. Staff are going to attend the site at the end of service today to remove and repair the damaged barrier.

As a result, your journey between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester via Newton-le-Willow may be delayed by up to 35 minutes for the rest of today.
