Description
A safety inspection of the track between Lea Green and Earlestown means trains will have to run at a reduced speed on some lines. Services may be cancelled, revised, diverted or delayed by up to 20 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 16:00.

Services between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Airport will be affected by this disruption.

At 13:45 from Huyton to Manchester Piccadilly, calling at Whiston, Rainhill, Lea Green, St Helens Junction, Earlestown, Newton-Le-Willows, Patricroft, Eccles, Deansgate, Manchester Oxford Road and Manchester Piccadilly. Operated by Phantom Travel
At 15:00 from Earlestown to Liverpool Lime Street, calling at Earlestown, St Helens Junction, Lea Green, Rainhill, Whiston, Huyton, Roby, Broad Green, Wavertree Tech Park and Liverpool Lime Street
At 15:10 from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street, calling at Manchester Oxford Road, Deansgate, Eccles, Patricroft and Newton-Le-Willows. The bus will then drop customers off as required to stations to Liverpool Lime Street
Please check station information posters for the location of the bus pick up points and be advised that bicycles, e-bikes and dogs (except for service dogs) are not permitted on replacement road transport.
Journey times may be extended by up to 60 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.
TransPennine Express customer advice:
Services between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester via Newton-le-Willows may be diverted. Services that do divert will not be able to serve Lea Green and Newton-le-Willows.
