Description
A fault with the signalling system at Leeds means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes, diverted or revised.
Major disruption is expected until 14:00.
Additional information:
Network Rail are on site and are investigating the cause of the problem.
CrossCountry customer advice:
Leeds and Wakefield Westgate will not be served.
Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on LNER services between London Kings Cross and York in both directions.
LNER customer advice:
Due to the severity of today's disruption and the number of cancellations across LNER's route, they advise to defer travel until tomorrow, Monday 1 December.
You can use your tickets with the following train companies at no extra cost:
Avanti West Coast services between London Euston and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh in both directions
ScotRail between Edinburgh and Glasgow
TransPennine Express via any reasonable route, including West Coast Mainline services towards Manchester
East Midlands Railway between Sheffield and London St Pancras International. Please note: East Midlands Railway have advised that northbound services from London St Pancras International are extremely busy due to football fixtures.
