Description

The emergency services have now completed their work following an earlier incident in the Leeds area meaning that all lines have now reopened. Whilst service recovers, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Additionally, all lines have also reopened between Leeds and Selby following an incident where a road vehicle collided with a level crossing.

Disruption is expected until 22:00.

LNER customer advice:

Rail replacement transport:

Rail replacement requested to attend Leeds and should arrive at 21:00 for Leeds or Doncaster.

Ticket acceptance:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services and routes:

  • CrossCountry between Edinburgh and Doncaster

  • Northern between York and Leeds

Rail replacement transport has been requested to run between York and Leeds / Wakefield, between Leeds and Wakefield / Doncaster.

Northern customer advice:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services and routes:

  • CrossCountry via any reasonable route

  • TransPennine Express via any reasonable route

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

TransPennine Express customer advice:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services and routes:

  • Alternative TransPennine Express, Northern or LNER services within two hours before or after your cancelled service

  • CrossCountry services between Newcastle and Leeds in both directions
