Description
The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Leeds and York on the route via Micklefield. So that they can safely carry out their work, all lines are closed.
Trains running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes, revised or diverted as a result.
Major disruption is expected until 13:00.

The two CrossCountry services operating before and after your cancelled service
TransPennine Express services between Leeds and York, in both directions
Northern services between Leeds and York, in both directions
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but coaches B, H and L are the unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.

Leeds - York services via Garforth will be cancelled, in both directions
Blackpool North - York services will be unable to run between Leeds - York, in both directions
York - Hull services may be delayed
Rail replacement road transport is in operation. The following bus will now run:
10:45 Leeds - York (operated by Phantom)
11:25 York - Leeds (operated by York Pullman)
Journey times will be extended whilst travelling by rail replacement transport.
Alternative travel suggestions:
Services between Leeds and York via Harrogate are unaffected.
Your ticket can be used, at no extra cost, on TransPennine Express and CrossCountry services via any reasonable route.
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
