Description
The points failure between Leeds and Cross Gates has been rectified, allowing all lines to reopen.
Whilst service recovers, trains running between Leeds and York / Selby may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes, or diverted.
Disruption is expected until 19:00.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following:
The two CrossCountry services operating before and after your cancelled service
Northern services between Sheffield / Doncaster and Leeds; Leeds and York
TransPennine Express between Sheffield and Doncaster; Leeds and Newcastle
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but Coach B, H and L are our unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.

Train services are unable to run between Leeds and Cross Gates in both directions.

Between Leeds and York via Cross Gates
Between Blackpool North and York
Between Halifax and Hull
Northern services between Leeds and York via Harrogate are not affected.
What should I do?
You can travel Northern services between Leeds and York via Harrogate.
You can travel on the following train operators and routes at no extra cost:
Cross Country services on any reasonable route
LNER services between Leeds and York
TransPennine Express services on any reasonable route
Please note that other train operators may also be affected by disruption – please check your whole journey before travelling.
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

Road transport has been confirmed to run as follows:
At 17:30 from Leeds to York, calling at all stations. Operated by J&B Travel
At 17:30 from Selby to Leeds calling at all stations. Operated by York Pullman
At 17:40 from York to Leeds, calling at all stations. Operated by J&B Travel
Please check station information posters for the location of the bus pick-up points and be advised that bicycles, e-bikes and dogs (except for service dogs) are not permitted on replacement road transport.
Journey times may be extended by up to 45 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.
