Description

Damage to the overhead electric wires between Birmingham New Street and Lichfield Trent Valley means that all lines are blocked. Trains between these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 45 minutes as a result.

This is expected until 21:15.

Customer advice:

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on National Express West Midlands services between Birmingham New Street and Sutton Coldfield, and also between Longbridge and Birmingham New Street in both directions.

Your ticket can also be used at no extra cost on rail replacement transport between Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield Trent Valley, in both directions.
